Jon Thurlow - Strong Love
Sitting here in my room, I’ve received some kind of confirmation/revelation or something. I don’t know :)
I’m listening and singing to music, and doing some sewing. I can’t do either of these things for very long, but I realised I don’t actually do them too badly.. Now I’m not someone that self-congratulates themselves and gets big-headed and stuff, far from it to be honest. I’m a beat-yourself-up-about-everything kind of girl usually. But I did decide that I’m not gonna find what to do with my life by being too scared to try. Or too scared to show anyone what I can do. I’ve been told many times that (amongst other things) I’m good at making things, and I’m good at singing. Those comments have really just been a nice surprise each time and I’ve never really taken them to heart. But I should be noting what people are saying I’m good at, they aren’t ‘just being nice’ or whatever, they have no reason to lie to me. Surely it’s a clue to what I should be doing with myself :)
